We went and ate at an Indian restaurant. Particularly enjoyable were the creatively described dishes, including "chicken-coated lamb," and "raw banana dumplings cooked in onion sauce" (which Catherine actually ate--they were delicious but probably not made of banana). Josh and I had goat!
Then we went to Finale's and luxuriated. Nancy had creme brulee and Catherine and I shared a molten chocolate cake (o extase!). Josh introduced us to the complex pleasures of tawny port.
It was so lovely to see Catherine again, and so heart-wrenching to have to wave goodbye to another bus. But JASC is not over, and will never be over as long as we have each other!
