To no Chujo

As some of you may know, one of my hobbies is knitting.  I pursue this hobby with vigorous enthusiasm and ineptitude.  Inspired by overpriced knitted stuffed animals at Black Ink and a gift of orange yarn from Nancy, I decided to make a stuffed animal myself.

I really wish I had an excuse for this.
I really didn't expect it to turn out quite this... horrifying.
I promise I am a better knitter than this.
No, really.
AAAAAAAUGH

Nancy has named him To no Chujo, after Genji's youthful best friend (and lover, seriously guys, it's obvious) and adult rival.  He's never quite as successful politically or romantically as Genji.  Poor To no Chujo.

I think perhaps I'll stick to scarves after this.

hahahahaha

This entry is amazing! I am already so very much attached to To no Chujo, in part because you've pelted me with all of his limbs before you assembled them!

I think I shall join you in your yarn ventures. Which is to say, let's knit scarves!

I am so embarrassed by him, yet I love him. Maybe if I have a child, I will feel the same way. "Aww, little Bobby has such terrible spelling, yet his ineptitude is endearing!"

To no Chujo is currently hangin' out on my bookshelf, staring at me with his freaky lopsided eyes. I really should have made him smiling somehow. :|

YES SCARVES! :D

or our attitude towards our thesis?
"Aww, my thoughts are so unreservedly awful, and yet my attempt to commit them to paper is endearing!"

Or maybe it'll just be like: x____X
